Welcome to the website of Tony Eardley, folk-roots artist and songwriter based in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, Australia.

Tony is gaining a growing reputation as a lyrical and poetic songwriter, and is a regular performer at festivals and clubs in NSW and beyond. In August 2007 he released his long-awaited debut CD Desire Lines, which features a bunch of great Australian folk and roots performers.

Reviewing Desire Lines in the Sydney Morning Herald, Bruce Elder wrote: "This is a remarkable CD from one of the most talented performers on the Australian folk and festival scene. Listen and be amazed at how rich and intelligent modern folk can be" (SMH, 1 December 2007)

Tony is also a member of the enigmatic Spooky Men’s Chorale and performs regularly with them at festivals and events, and down all kinds of strange dark alleys.Their second CD 'Stop Scratching It' was also released in 2007, following their second ripsnorting tour of the UK.
