Tony's debut CD Desire Lines was released in August 2007. It includes mainly original compositions, plus a few carefully chosen songs by other artists that he has made his own through interpretation and performance over the years. The album was recorded and co-produced by Marcus Holden, of Fiddler's Festival fame. Tony's warm vocal tones and melodic guitar and bouzouki are complemented by the rich and varied texture of instrumental and vocal accompaniment from a swag of well-known and accomplished Australian folk and roots musicians.
"I was spellbound ... because of the very poetry in the combination of the words and the music." (Cornstalk Gazette, October 2007)
"I first listened to this one four times over, and after a month I still listen to it twice in a row because of its entrancing, evocative sensitivity. Generally, I recommend seeing a performer live before buying a recording, but in this case the CD's quality stands alone. I suggest you buy it right now." (Folk Rag, Queensland, October 2007)
